Take a close look at the hardware. I decided to splurge on a signed solid brass buckle and matching signed brass button. These pieces are becoming increasingly difficult to find since Richard Lannis retired from making what many of us considered the finest brass hardware available.
The tiered shoulder strap transitions between two widths for both comfort and visual interest, and every stitch is sewn by hand at a fine 10 stitches per inch—a small detail that reflects the care invested in every part of this one-of-a-kind pouch.
