Sometimes I just have to go outside of the historical world. This slubby fabric is lined and then waxed, making it durable, water resistant, and easy to care for. 
Leather sis on the bottom( using “x” stitches), in the welt, on the binding, strap, interior/exterior pockets, and fringed keychain.
I hate when keys go to the bottom of the bag, so it conveniently clips on the tab, just as the strap does. 
A magnetic closure helps contain the contents when en route. 
The pockets are the same on the inside and outside.
Completely hand-stitched, as always. 
Measures 13.5” W x 14” L with a 3.5” boxed pleat. Will your laptop fit in there? Yabetcha!
