I call this “Scar” . One look and you can figure it out. The pig leather is extremely tough and the blemishes hold a story. 
In addition to being made of durable leather, it is also oiled and waxed, making it a virtually indestructible bag. 
It measures 9”x8”, has welts , and interior pocket , and a graduated partial gusset . 
The body is unlined, but the flap is lined with canvas and bound with bark tan and nubby fringe.
Then there’s the strap— a dandy woven by Once Upon a Loom. The buckle is one of my own browned steel.
